FPLS Liaison

ITPS is seeking an FPLS Liaison to support the FPLS Support Team by analyzing business and technical processes, coordinating with business and technology teams, and supporting federal systems users.

Role Summary

FPLS Liaison

Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop business information processing systems. The candidate will coordinate with business and technology teams as a member of the FPLS Support Team.

Required Skills and Responsibilities

  • Provide state officials support in the use of federal system data for establishment and enforcement of child support orders, increased child support collections, and improved case processing.
  • Plan and conduct onsite technical support visits and prepare reports summarizing visit results and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with ACF Regional Offices, participate in conference calls, and present at national, regional, and state conferences.
  • Identify potential system enhancements to federal systems, including the Child Support Portal, submit change requests, and document business requirements.
  • Analyze issues concerning use of federal systems data.
  • Develop technical assistance material.
  • Maintain various data and task matrices, and use JIRA for issue tracking and change management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a closely related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience or 10 years of professional experience.
  • 5 years of experience in child support, including an understanding of child support systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-manage daily priorities, and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Experience working and collaborating with stakeholders including senior leadership, subject matter experts, and internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations for national, regional, and state conferences, teleconferences, and webinars.
  • Written communication skills with experience creating procedure documents, white papers, analysis outcomes, and similar materials.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
